I work with women all the time who are “doing everything right” and still feel like crap. So let’s talk about what might really be going on underneath all those healthy habits.
First: You’re Not Failing. Your Body’s Talking.
Those symptoms you’re experiencing—fatigue, brain fog, mood swings, skin issues, joint pain, bloat that makes you look three months pregnant?
Those aren’t random. They’re signals. Clues. Your body’s way of waving the little white flag and asking you (maybe even begging you) to look deeper.
The Healthy Food Trap
Let’s say you’re eating salmon, spinach, eggs, blueberries—all those foods we’ve been told are super healthy.
But what if one (or more) of those foods is triggering inflammation in your body?
I’ll use myself as an example: When I ran my first MRT food sensitivity test, spinach came back as one of my top “red” foods. Spinach! I was eating spinach salads like they were going out of style, thinking I was doing my body a favor. Turns out, my immune system was not having it.
Even “clean” foods can become inflammatory if your gut is compromised or your immune system sees them as a threat.
What the Heck Is a Food Sensitivity (and How’s It Different From an Allergy)?
Unlike food allergies, which are usually immediate and dramatic (think: hives or anaphylaxis), food sensitivities are like stealth saboteurs.
Reactions can be delayed by hours—or even days—and symptoms are often chalked up to aging, stress, or “just how life is now.”
But, when I run the Mediator Release Test (MRT) for my clients, we sometimes find that the foods they’re eating every single day—foods they think are healthy—are actually triggering a storm of inflammation that’s keeping them stuck.

Once inflammation is brewing, it doesn’t just stay in your gut. It can mess with your skin, your hormones, your energy, your mood…
