Peanut Butter Vita Balls

Peanut Butter Vita Balls

September 15, 2015 |  by  |  Nutrition, Recipes

These are a great way to get your kids to eat their vitamins in no fuss way. Because children’s tastes and appetite change depending on the day (sometimes eating hardly anything) it can be challenging getting them the nutrition you know they need. These work to at least fill in the gaps on those days. These are also great for any child going through an immune challenge that doesn’t have much of an appetite.

The recipe here is for children 2-5 yrs old. I kept this simple. Jaiden knows these are his vitamins and he gets only 1-2 a day. You could add other ingredients such as coconut, chia seeds and other spices to make them even more nutrient-dense.

Peanut Butter Vita Balls
Prep time
Total time
Serves: Approx 40 balls
  • 1 jar organic peanut or nut butter of choice
  • ¼ cup ground flax seeds
  • 2 tbs chia seeds
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 6 tbs Standard Process CyroFood Powder
  • 40 Standard Process MinTran (crushed)
  • A little raw honey is optional
  1. Mix everything together in a bowl and refrigerate until firm enough to form balls.
  2. Make teaspoon size balls (heavy teaspoons).
  3. Keep refrigerated - these get gooey real quick.

Cyrofood Powder is a foundational multi-nutrient formula that contains 16 whole foods plus raw bone meal powder. I like this formula for kids because it can be used as a multi that also supports healthy tissue and bone growth in little ones. As a powder it’s easy to mix into food or smoothies.

MinTran is a calming mineral formula that supports a healthy nervous system and also helps calm the mind. This is a great formula for kids with ADHD/ADD or any child with added stress in their lives.
